		<description>Yes, it is standard for the requirements to be different. This is because when you live in your own house you are not responsible for anyone elses safety.  There are stricter rules on locks, doors, stairs, railings and things like that.  

I don&#039;t know were to find any case law on this.  I just know the general standards.</description>
